Term 2 reflection

What is one thing you have achieved this term you are proud of?

I am proud of what i have achieved in writing this term. I feel like I have put in a lot of effort into my practice explanation writing pieces and even more into the one we have been graded on! I think I have improved quite a bite from last term and definitely enjoy it more too.

What are three things you have done to be IDEAL this term?

In food tech i engaged with mana by helping others and tidying up after myself. In modules I acted with respect by listening to the teachers and getting all my work done. In class I have been learning with purpose by getting on with my work and getting it done well.

How have you contributed to the caring classroom environment of Room 13?

By staying on task and helping people when they need help.

What is one goal you have, related to your learning, for the rest of the year in Room 13?

Trying to continue to get 100% on my basic facts each week.

Think about the holidays - what is one thing you are really looking forward to? Why?

I am looking forward to going to Queenstown. We are going to go ice skating and on the luge. I am also look forward to hanging out with my friends and just chilling!

100wc week 12

And then I saw it! ¨AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH¨ I screamed loudly as I looked at it. It was so green,
hairy and big, that when I saw it I jumped and my heart skipped a beat. I ran back round to a corner
and heard its big footsteps coming towards me. I told myself to breathe properly and to not be silly.
I peaked back around and saw it standing right there with a massive fist clenched. I passed out and
knocked my head on the corner where I was hiding. Then I became the yummy monster lunch of
spaghetti and meatballs.

100wc week 11

I woke up abruptly to the sound of something sniffing against my car. ¨Sniff sniff.¨ I saw a

shadow make its way round my car. ¨H-hello¨? I asked, shivering. This was followed by a

snort from outside. The shadow stood still, I didn't breathe. It started scratching on the side

of my car trying to get in. I wiped the ice from the window and saw a polar bear staring right

back at me. ¨It's rude to stare¨ it said. Then I woke up, with my mum shaking me. ¨school!¨

she said ¨your going to be late!¨

100wc week 10

I sat and sat, through what felt like hundreds of hours. My seat had become very hard and uncomfortable but still I sat and listened to every single speech finalist that had been on the stage. Finally the last one came on ,the one reason why i had sat in this seat for hours. He came on to the stage, his knees knocking with fear, over to the podium. His eyes searched the audience looking for me, when we locked eye contact , like we had practiced I gave him a thumbs up, he gulped. Then the elephant delivered his speech.

100wc week 9

As Viola searched the sunken pirate ship for the ancient lost treasure of Lugini the Great ,she had stumbled upon a massive octopus blocking the entrance. “ AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH” Viola screamed as loud as she could even though she was under water. The octopus turned his head and looked at her with his many eyes, she froze as the octopus slowly moved a gigantic tentacle closer to her. Viola reached for a fallen bit of wood , she lashed at the octopus and it gave her a terrified look and quickly disappeared in a cloud of ink. Viola took the ancient gold happily.

100wc week 8

I heard footsteps slowly coming up the stairs, I shoved everything I owned
into my tiny suitcase. Then I heard the footsteps come to a stop….. Right
outside my room.” Open up” a gruff voice said” I know you're in there.” That's
when I knew I should run. I scooped up my suitcase and quickly lowered
myself onto the roof just as the door burst open. I quietly climbed down the
water pipe and landed safely on the grass. I heard the man cursing loudly and
chuckled to myself, then I turned on my heel and walked into the forest.
